Character Customization in The Blood of Dawnwalker
The Blood of Dawnwalker has no character creator and no appearance editor: Coen is a fixed protagonist whose face stays visible through the whole game — the developers removed helmets entirely. Customization instead lives in what you wear, carry and learn.
No Character Creator
- You always play the predefined Coen — his look and story are fixed.
- Hair, facial hair and body cannot be edited in the base game.
- No helmets exist — Rebel Wolves confirmed in a community Q&A that Coen’s face stays visible at all times.
Armor & Outfits
- Armor comes in light and heavy variants. Heavy armor needs training in the relevant skill line (the Second Skin proficiency, sold as manuals by armorers in Maragir and Svartrau City).
- Cosmetic and unique outfits exist — including the Sangoran Wayfarer’s Armor Set pre-order bonus, which is earnable in-game too.
- No official transmog system — the developers say they are only "considering" one, so equipping stronger gear changes your look.
- Community mods on Nexus Mods fill the transmog gap with appearance-preserving tools.
Accessories & Builds
- Beyond armor: Coen equips weapons, rings, amulets and talismans with rarity tiers.
- Magic is learned from ancient scrolls found in the world, then paid for with skill points.
- The real customization depth is the build: the Corruption-gated Vampirism tree, day-only Witchcraft, and all-day Swordmastery — plus generic perks (stamina, health, carry weight) that run across all three.
